Analyst Programmer / Programmer (Contract)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in user requirement collection and analysis
  • Assist in system analysis, design and development of IT applications
  • Conduct unit tests and system integration tests
  • Maintain documentation including system architecture diagrams, operation procedures, backup and recovery procedures
  • Conduct performance tuning of applications systems
  • Provide 1st tier system and operation support
  • Provide 24/7 system support on a rotation basis, including Sundays and public holidays

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of application development and support experience. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Programmer
  • Solid experience in application development using common programming languages and tools such as Java, Javascript, React JS, React Native, Node.js, Spring MVC, xcode, SQL Server, Oracle DBMS
  • Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD, GitLab, Scrum is preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese & English
