Hong Kong Baptist Hospital (HKBH), being closely affiliated with and has the same membership as the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong (BCHK), is a premier healthcare institution in Hong Kong that commenced full operation in 1963, offering comprehensive medical services across various specialties and subspecialities on patient-centred care. As a Christian hospital, HKBH strives to honour God by serving the needy with love and compassion. To accomplish our mission “In the Service of Man, for the Glory of God”, we stress the importance of providing holistic care in which one’s physical, emotional, and well-being aspects are being taken care of. Our Pastoral Care Department, formed by a team of enthusiastic chaplains, offers spiritual care and counselling services to patients as well as their families.
As a non-profit making organisation, we are keen to serve the society through utilising our professionalism – from the early foundation of Au Shue Hung Health Centre to the establishment of Kai Tak Community Health Centre , we have been actively introducing holistic care services to a wider spectrum.
To fulfill our service commitment “Reaching out to serve the community”, HKBH has committed to expand its ambulatory services in the Kwun Tong South Business District (Ngau Tau Kok) in recent years. The HKBH Ambulatory Medical Centre (AMC) which commenced services in 2020 is another endeavor of the Hospital in serving the community with quality healthcare; and the HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre (EKMC), which is the hospital’s inaugural multi-storey ambulatory medical centre, commenced operations on December 30 2024, following over six years of planning and commissioning.
While fulfilling our Corporate Social Responsibility to the fullest extend through offering free medical check-ups and involvement in other non-profit making charitable projects, together we advocate health education and benevolence for the total benefit of the society.
With ongoing development in a range of services and investments in technologies, we now offer more than 30 Medical Centres and Paramedical Services, 24-hour Out-patient Clinic, Orthopedic Out Patient Specialist Clinic, and other specialist clinics. HKBH is currently home to more than 2,100 staff and over 680 beds. We will continue to upkeep ourselves to ensure that our patients and their families will receive the highest quality of services and care.
