Hong Kong Baptist Hospital operates 2 renal centres which dedicate to fulfill the following missions:
- Provide quality treatment with introduction of most advanced equipments and facilities
- Provide professional advices and education to clients
- Tailor-made treatment plan for individual clients
- Carry out “Single Use” policy to ensure the safety of haemodialysis process.

Renal Centre (Hong Kong Baptist Hospital in Kowloon Tong)
The Centre adopts new model of haemodialysis machines. The comprehensive facilities and setting offers a comfortable environment to our patients. It is managed by the resident consultant in nephrology. Other doctors and nephrologists are also welcome to refer their clients to the Centre for haemodialysis service.
Haemodialysis Centre (HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre)
Haemodialysis Centre offers high-quality haemodialysis services to patients with renal disease, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere and tailored care. The facility is outfitted with 40 state-of-the-art Gambro Artis dialysis machines. Furthermore, all medical dialysis products utilized at the Centre are single-use disposables, which are not sterilized or reused. This practice minimizes the risk of infection from residual sterilization materials and guarantees the effectiveness of the dialysis treatment.
HKBH also participated in the HA’s Haemodialysis Public-Private Partnership Programme (HD PPP), which is a partnership between HA and the private sector to provide haemodialysis services to eligible patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who are under HA’s care.
