Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining, governing, and leading the strategic adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the hospital to deliver measurable business outcomes while ensuring safety, ethics, privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Define AI vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap in alignment with organizational goals
- Establish AI governance frameworks covering model lifecycle management, ethics, privacy, and regulatory compliance including data protection laws, industry regulations, internal risk and audit requirements
- Identify and prioritize high value AI use cases across different functional areas
- Translate business challenges into AI opportunities with clear success metrics (e.g. ROI, productivity, quality, risk reduction, KPI)
- Establish and evolve enterprise AI platforms, tools, and architectures
- Oversee delivery of AI initiatives and data integration with existing systems from proof of concept to production
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where it delivers clear value
- Upskill hospital staff on AI literacy & adoption
- Manage strategic relationships with AI solution vendors and ecosystem partners
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology, Data, Digital Transformation or AI-related disciplines in medium-to-large organizations, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Good understanding of cloud platforms, data architecture, MLOps, AI/ML lifecycle, Generative AI, agentic AI and modern AI architectures
- Proven experience in identifying, prioritizing and delivering AI use cases that drive operational efficiency, service quality and business outcomes
- Solid understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, model risk management, data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, preferably within healthcare or other regulated industries
- Experience in developing and executing enterprise-wide AI strategies, roadmaps and operating models aligned with business goals is preferred
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently under pressure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
