About HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre (EKMC)

Established in 1963, Hong Kong Baptist Hospital (HKBH) started to provide hospital services to the public. As a Christian hospital that lives up to the mission “In the Service of Man, For the Glory of God”, HKBH serves the needy with love and compassion, and provides holistic care in which one’s physical, emotional, and well-being aspects are being taken care of.

In welcoming its 60^th anniversary, HKBH has embarked its Master Redevelopment Plan since 2020 to enhance and expand its services. HKBH Ambulatory Medical Centre (AMC) was established in 2020 which located in Ngau Tau Kok, to provide health screening, medical imaging and endoscopy services to the community.

HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre (EKMC), a 32-storey Medical Centre which opposite to the AMC, covering a wide range of ambulatory services and specialty clinics. The topping out ceremony of the building was successfully held on 8 August 2023 as our 60^th anniversary gift. EKMC is expected to commence operation in Q4 2024.
