Dietetics centre provides professional medical nutrition therapy services. Dietitian teaches customers to increase body strength and immunity through dietary modification and nutritional counseling, reduce infection risk and complication, which aim to speed up client’s recovery.
Our centre is managed by a registered dietitian. Advance technology, analysis of blood report and customers’ need are being integrated to work out professional and practical dietary plan. Various nutrition workshops allow customers, family members and carers to participate and gain confidence with positive mind on the care pathway.
According to our customers’ medical needs, dietitians will listen and understand their eating habit and pattern, tailor-made individual and package dietetics counseling sessions for our customers with the aim to helps them regain health as well as enjoying fruitful life.
Our services cover a wide range of clinical nutrition areas. Some of the conditions that we have dealt with include: Diabetes, Hypertension, Pre and post-natal, Abnormal lipid levels, Kidney disease, Weaning, Gout, Food allergy, Kidney disease, Vegetarian diet, Tube Feeding, Stroke, Gut problems, Nutrition support, Texture modification and Pregnancy etc.
- Health Talks and Workshops
We also participate in various patient support groups to deliver nutrition talks with useful and achievable dietary tips. Family members and care takers are encouraged to join with customers to gather more family support for effective treatment and fast recovery, also gain confidence with positive mind on the care pathway. If participated in any of our health talks and workshops, a prestige dietetics counselling package will be offered.

- HKBH Prenatal health talk: Diet and nutrition during pregnancy; postnatal diet for mother and infant;
- HKBH Patient support group cancer health talk: Educate cancer patients in nutritional needs before, during and after treatment
- HKBH Patient support group renal disease talk: Assist patients in understanding dietary principles and nutritional needs for renal disease through health talks and various activities.
- HKBH Public Health Talk: provide in-depth analysis of nutritional knowledge, guiding the public to enhance their dietary health and thereby prevent chronic diseases caused by bad diet.
- Writing articles regularly on different nutrition and health topics and published in “Health Plus Magazine”.
- Participate in an interview on RTHK’s radio program, discussing dietary myths related to various diseases.
