The Vascular Clinic is managed by experienced vascular specialists, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of aortic disease and peripheral vascular diseases. Aorta is the largest artery of the body. Common aortic diseases include aortic aneurysm. Rupture of aneurysm will lead to severe internal bleeding and death. Aortic dissection can be complicated with rupture and end organ ischemia. Peripheral vascular diseases relate to blood vessels outside the heart or brain and can arise from blockages or abnormalities in vascular function. If left untreated, severe peripheral vascular diseases may lead to amputation and other debilitating conditions.
