Type I Diabetes Management<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

When a child is diagnosed with Type I diabetes, both the child and family may face significant physical and emotional challenges. Hong Kong Baptist Hospital East Kowloon Medical Centre Paediatric & Adolescent Centre provides a dedicated Insulin Pump Service designed to support children with Type I diabetes in achieving optimal management. This advanced therapy helps reduce the frequency of injections, enhances quality of life through greater flexibility in daily activities, and improves overall blood glucose control. The initiation and management of insulin pump therapy are overseen by an experienced Paediatric Endocrinologist and a qualified Diabetes Nurse, ensuring safe and stable care under a professional team.<\/p>\n
