Hong Kong Baptist Hospital's Dietetics Department is managed by registered dietitians to provide expert nutritional care to in- and out-patients in a various areas including weight management,
cholesterol control and dietetic therapy. One-to-one dietetic counseling and updated nutritional guidelines are available to meet individual needs.

Outpatients: nutrition assessment is conducted to understand patients' dietary needs. A tailor-made nutritional care plan and
dietetic counseling will be available to the patients and their families. |

Inpatients: nutrition assessment and dietetic counseling with patients is conducted at ward. Dietitian will design a nutritional care
plan and arrange hospital therapeutic meal service to meet their individual needs. |

Choose more: low fat and whole meal grains and cereals such as noodles with soup, red rice, brown rice, oatmeal, whole meal bread and biscuits.

Choose more: dark and yellowish orange fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice.

Dairy, Meat and Beans: Eat Moderately

Choose more: Lean and skinned meat, fish, dry beans, bean products, low-fat / skimmed milk, low fat cheese and high calcium soy milk.

Fats, Oils, Salt and Sweets: Eat Less

Choose more: food low in fat, salt and sugar.
