Common diseases:
Breast lump can be caused by fibrocystic disease, fibroadenoma or breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer of Hong Kong female. If there is a breast lump, clinical examination and investigation are recommended.
Per rectal bleeding may be caused by haemorrhoids, colitis, ulcers, colorectal polyps or colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer of Hong Kong female. If there is per rectal bleeding, please seek medical advice.
Goitre causes neck swelling. The cause of goiter includes thyrotoxicosis, colloid nodules, benign and malignant thyroid tumour. Thyroid function test, ultrasound and tissue biopsy are recommended for further investigation.
