Hong Kong Baptist Hospital introduced haemodialysis service in 1980. In response to the increasing demand towards the service, Renal Dialysis Centre was established in 1992 and it was turned into a new Renal Centre in April 2006 to provide a wider variety of renal care related services such as haemodialysis, ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, teaching and training of patients and relatives in relevant health care. Resident specialist in Nephrology is available for consultation and management of the Centre's service, referral by non-resident doctors and nephrologists are also welcome.

The Centre provides haemodialysis to out-patients, including international travelers. Patients are required to send the following records for appointment in advance:

	Doctor's referral letter
	Patient's recent blood reports including HIV, HbsAg, HCV (within 3 months)
	Patient's recent haemodialysis record
	Requested booking date and time
	Hong Kong contact phone number if available
