There are two Renal Centres in Baptist Hospital.

I           Renal Centre (Hong Kong Baptist Hospital)

Haemodialysis service was launched by Hong Kong Baptist Hospital in 1980, and a Renal Unit was set up at the Hospital in 1982. In order to offer the community with high quality medical service, a Renal Centre was established in 2006 providing a variety of renal care related services. The Centre is equipped with comprehensive facilities and offers a comfortable environment to the patients. It is managed by the resident consultant in nephrology. Other doctors and nephrologists are also welcome to refer their patients to the Centre for haemodialysis service.

II           Renal Centre (Kai Tak Community Health Centre)

To cater for the growing demand of haemodialysis service in the community, Renal Centre (Kai Tak Community Health Centre) was open in February of 2011. The Centre has also joined the "Haemodialysis Public-Private Partnership Programme" put forward by the Hospital Authority. By joining this programme, more patients can be benefited from the lower-cost treatment option. With such, the Hospital can effectively give back to the society and further fulfill its corporate social responsibility.

The Centre introduced 20 advanced model of haemodialysis machines with all the set-up attaining hospital standards to deliver high-quality haemodialysis treatment. Besides, individual LCD TV and internet service are offered in each Haemodialysis station, so that clients may receive the treatment in a homely and comfortable environment.
