Introduction
Hong Kong Baptist Hospital's Chinese Medicine Clinic was set up as early as in 1997 to satisfy the demands of patients towards diversified medical services. The Chinese Medicine Clinic is one of the first Chinese Medicine specialty clinics in Hong Kong and it has been devoted to providing a range of Chinese Medicine outpatient services. The Chinese Medicine practitioners at this Clinic are registered under the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong. With extensive clinical experiences, they are all professional and specialized in health care, hygiene as well as the prevention and treatment of a variety of illnesses.
Service Scope
Chinese Medicine Clinic provides general and specialist medical services which include Chinese internal medicine, oncology, gynaecology, acupuncture, dermatology, orthopedics, Tuina therapy and gerontology as well as aftercare treatment of illness. Patients are allocated to different Chinese Medicine practitioners according to their symptoms and needs to ensure that they receive the most suitable specialist medical service. Our Chinese Medicine practitioners diagnose and treat patients by the four diagnostic methods, namely inspection, auscultation-olfaction, inquiry and palpation, to collect comprehensive clinical details of patients in order to deliver the best treatment effect.
